GRO's new Pilot Scheme - Order PDF birth and death certificates

From today (12 October 2017), and for the next three months, the GRO has offered the option of ordering PDF versions of birth and death certificates through their website for £6.00 rather than the usual £9.25. This applies to births 1837-1916, and deaths 1837-1957. This is great news for family historians everywhere – here’s hoping this change becomes permanent.
