Sheboygan County Historical Research Centre

The Sheboygan County Historical Research Centre preserves and collects documents and records relating to the history of the area.

Taylor County Genealogical Society

Formed in 1995, their aims are to promote and encourage the study of genealogy and to help members to pass on their knowledge to others.

Many indexes are accessible on their site, which include Marriages 1919-2016 and Obituaries from Taylor County Leader 1919-1929 and The Star News 1930-2017.

Some publications are available for sale, which include Church Indexes, Cemetery Inscriptions and Taylor Co. 1910 US Census.

Three Lakes Genealogical Society

The society was established to promote and encourage interest in genealogy, and to collect and preserve genealogical information relating to the history of the area.

An Index of Tombstone Inscriptions from Three Lakes Cemetery is on the site, along with an index of obituaries 1980-2016.

A list of surnames currently being researched by members is also accessible.  In addition, links to other sites you may find useful are also available.

Vernon County Historical Society

Their aim is to promote and preserve the history of Vernon County.  

Four sites are operated by the association, which include Vernon Co. Museum, Old St. Mary's Church Museum, the Foreaker One Room Schoolhouse and Sherry-Butt House.
