Wisconsin Historical Society

The association collects and preserves knowledge of Wisconsin and the trans-Allegheny West.  It also has information regarding historic places and people.

They have a Library where a number of archives are available, which include Cemetery Transcripts, Census Returns, Naturalisation Papers, Church Records and Histories, Ephemera and Family Histories.

Archives also incorporate Photographs, Immigration Records, Local Histories, Manuscripts, Maps, Military Records, Newspapers, Pamphlets and Vital Records. 

They also have many books relating to American History.  An on-line catalogue is also available.

A list of Counties in the state is accessible which states Resources available in each region, which include Libraries and Associations.

A Cemetery Listing for each County is also available, and for a fee, they are willing to provide a copy of any Cemetery listed.
