Seattle Genealogical Society

The association was established in 1923 and its aims are to preserve and collect materials and to promote and encourage interest in family history and genealogy.

They hold meetings, offer classes and seminars and publish genealogical material. Anyone is welcome to join the association wherever their ancestors lived.

They have a 13000-item Library where many archives are available, which incorporate:

Skagit Valley Genealogical Society

Many archives are available in Burlington Public Library, which include more than 1000 Printed Volumes and a large collection of Microfilm.

Many databases are available, which incorporate:

  • Pioneer Book(List of Early Residents of Skagit Co.)
  • 1910 Census Indexes
  • Skagit Co. Deaths 1891-1908

South King County Genealogical Society

They have some Special Interest Groups, which incorporate TMG Users Group, Computer, Legacy and Beyond, Family Tree Maker and Heritage Photo Groups.
