Aberdeen and North East Scotland Family History Society

The association was established in 1978 and its aim is to promote and encourage the study of genealogy relating to the North-East corner of Scotland.  The society has had more than 21000 members and has a core membership surpassing 5000 per annum.

The association has a Library where a number of resources are available, which include Microfiche of the IGI, Old Parish Registers and Censuses.

Alloway and Southern Ayrshire Family History Society

The association was established in 1997 and focuses on Genealogical Research.  They have a Library where many archives are available, which include:

The association covers the Border Counties, which include Berwickshire, Peeblesshire, Roxburghshire and Selkirkshire.
