Derry Area Historical Society

Derry Township, Derry and New Alexandria boroughs and the surrounding areas make up the Derry Area.  

Many resources can be accessed in their Research Centre, which is located in New Alexandria Public Library.

Downingtown Area Historical Society

A Family Files Index is available, which a list of Announcements extracted from Local Newspapers, including The Downingtown News, The Archive, The East Branch Citizen, The Daily Local News, The Downingtown Ledger and the Community Courier.

Elizabeth Township Historical Society

The association was established in 1976 and its aim is to preserve the cultural, genealogical and historical heritage of the 'Forks of the Yough', the area between Monongahela and Youghiogheny rivers.

Many archives are accessible in The Golda Abraham Memorial Library Room of their Museum, which include Historical Books and documents relating to the surrounding Towns and Counties.
