Chester County Historical Society

The Official history museum, history education centre and historical repository of Chester County, Pennsylvania, the association was established in 1893.  

The association administers the Chester Co. Archives which is located in the Chester Co. Government Services Centre and their holdings include Estate Files, Vital Records, Deeds, Taxes and other documents.

In addition, the association has a History Centre which includes the Library and Museum where a number of archives are available, which incorporate:

The association has an extensive Photograph Collection.  A number of databases are on the site, which include the People, Places and Events Database which has over 40000 References to Reference Books, Pamphlets, Scrapbooks, Church Registers and Family Histories.

Cranberry Genealogy Club

The Club has transcribed all known Cemeteries in Cranberry Township and it is possible to order the book Cemetery Survey of Cranberry Township from them.


Cumberland County Historical Society

The association has a Library where a number of archives are available, which comprise:
