County and Other Societies

Berks County Genealogical Society

The society is a non-profit making association established in 1980. Its aims are to collect and preserve historical materials and to encourage and promote the study of genealogy.  They focus on Berks and the surrounding counties, especially in the 18th and 19th centuries.  Anyone with an interest in genealogy is welcome to join the association.

They have a Library where many archives are available, which comprise:
