County and Other Societies

Cuyahoga West Genealogical Society

The association has a number of publications for sale, which include:

  • Index to Cuyahoga Co. Coroner's Files 1833-1900
  • Maple Ridge Cemetery
  • Pioneers of Westlake

A list of Local Cemeteries is on the site.  They also have a link to the Soldiers Burial Record 1914-1938 for Cuyahoga Co., which includes Widows and some Mothers.


Darke County Genealogical Society

The association has a number of volumes available for sale, which include Darke Co. 1820, 1830 and 1850 Censuses, Darke Co. Families and Marriages 1851-1898.


Defiance County Genealogical Society

The society does not currently have its own library.

A list of churches is available, along with a list of Cemeteries and Excerpts from the Defiance Democrat Newspaper from 1860-1862, 1863, 1865, 1870s, 1880 and 1886.

In addition, they have lists of Military Items of Interest, which include War of 1812, Mexican War 1845-1848, Civil War and information regarding the Defiance Co. Veterans Historical Project.

Delaware County Genealogical Society

The association has a Research Library which is located in The Delaware Co. District Library located at 84 East Winter Street, Delaware, Ohio 43015. 

Cemetery Information is available on the site, which includes a List of Burials. 

In addition, there are Alphabetical Lists of Delaware Co. Pioneers pre 1850 and the Descendants of the Pioneers.

A number of publications are available for sale, which include History of Delaware Police Department, 'Old' Delaware Volumes 1 and 2(Old Photographs) and Cemetery Transcripts.


Erie County Genealogical Society

The association has many volumes available for sale, which include:
