County Societies

Ray County Genealogical Association

The association has a Library where numerous archives are available, including:

St Louis Genealogical Society

The association was established in 1968.  An extensive collection of resources is available at the St Louis Co. Library Special Collections.  This collection includes 15000 Family Histories, 850 Periodicals, 18000 Microfilm Rolls, 55000 Microfiche, 300 CD-ROMs and various Electronic Databases.

Scotland County Genealogical Society

Many archives are held in the Genealogy Room of Scotland Co. Public Library, which include Census Returns, Cemetery Inscriptions, Newspapers, Obituaries and various Indexes. 

Ancestor Charts and Genealogies that have been donated to the collection are also available.

Stoddard County Genealogy Society
