County Societies

Cuyuna Iron Range Heritage Network

Cuyuna Country Heritage Preservation Society have merged with Soo Line Depot Museum to become Cuyuna Iron Range Heritage Network.  The organisation has a vast collection of resources located in the lower level of First National Bank of Crosby and the J. F. Hallett Memorial Library. 

These resources include:

  • Original Tract Entry Records of the Bureau Land Office on Microfilm and CD-ROM
  • Research Files

A number of publications are available for sale, which include:

Dakota County Genealogical Society

An 1880 Map of the area is available on the site, along with an 1980 Map of the area.

A number of publications are available for sale, which include 1879 Dakota Co. Plat Map including an Every Name Index to 1874 and 1879 Landowners and Naturalisation Papers - Declarations of Intent 1854-1876.

Dakota County Historical Society
