Henry and Clayton Counties Genealogical Society

Ancestors Unlimited of Clayton County and The Henry County Genealogy Association merged in 1992 to become The Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton Counties.

Huxford Genealogical Society

The association was established in 1972.  They have a number of publications for sale which includes the Pioneer Families of the Wiregrass Region.  This covers Coastal Georgia to Northwest Florida and East Alabama and from Macon to Central Florida. An index to this publication is available on the site.

Lowndes County Genealogical Society

They have an early history of Lowndes County and Valdosta on the site.  There is also an Old Pay Roll of 1836 which is Capt. Sharp's Company Florida Volunteers for the Indian War, 1836.

Muscogee Genealogical Society

The association was established in 1976. They have links to a number of Research Resources and it is also possible to take out a subscription or buy back issues of their journal on the site.  A surname index to the journal is available.
