Malvern Family History Society was founded in 1996. It has members who have interests not only in the Malvern area, but also across the county of Worcestershire, the British Isles and beyond.
Most of the members live in Malvern and the surrounding area but some live further afield.
Many of the people who live further afield have a family history connection with Malvern. All members are welcome at the monthly meetings.

The Genealogy section of the association was formed in 1973.
Their aim is to encourage and promote the study of genealogy and to help members in their research.
They provide access to an extensive library of material about the area, especially Leeds and the West Riding.
A number of publications are available for sale, which include parish register transcripts, hearth tax books, maps and name indexes to Baines Directories from 1822/3.
