Founded in September 1994, the association aims to assist people who are researching their ancestors by recording and collecting genealogical information from within a 10 mile radius of Dereham.
They also have a list of parishes, detailing parishes covered by the association.
Local group members are welcome to borrow from the association's vast library of reference books and other publications.

Norfolk Family History Society aims to encourage transcription and indexing projects to give wider access to genealogical resources. The group currently has approximately 4000 members.
