This section lists the state-wide association of Delaware. It then lists the county association of Lower Delmarva giving details about each one and what resources and publications they offer.
The association was established in 1977 with 40 charter members and now has over 450 members. They provide assistance to members researching their genealogy and also provide general educational programs.
They publish a journal and it is possible to search through the Tables of Contents of these for all volumes up to April 2010. They also have a Master Index, which includes names and places mentioned.
After you have determined which journal you are interested in, it is possible to order the issue(s) from the Society.
The Parish Registers of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington have been microfilmed and the Society has prepared a list of which parishes are covered on each roll, so you can either rent or buy the appropriate microfilm through the LDS Family History Library or from Family History Centers.
